Data Recovery
How Our Data Recovery Process Works
Data recovery is not a sure thing — but our process is designed to maximize the chances of getting your files back while protecting what remains.
Free Assessment
Bring in the drive (or the whole computer). We assess what happened — accidental deletion, failed drive, corrupted partition, formatted card — and give you an honest recovery estimate before you commit.
Drive Imaging
We create a sector-by-sector image of the drive first. Recovery runs against the image — your original drive is never touched beyond the initial copy, preserving any remaining recoverable data.
File Recovery Scan
Professional recovery software scans for deleted files, lost partitions, and raw data fragments. We show you what is recoverable before charging for the full recovery.
Files Delivered to You
Recovered files go onto a USB drive or external hard drive you provide — or we supply one. Files are organized by type (documents, photos, videos) to make them easy to sort through.
What We Can Recover From
Mechanical hard drives, SSDs, USB flash drives, SD cards, external drives, laptop drives from water-damaged machines. We handle logical failures in-house; severe physical failures (clicking drives) are referred to a specialist lab.
Honest About Limits
If a drive has physically failed platters or severe head damage, we tell you upfront and can refer you to a clean-room lab. We do not charge for recovery attempts that cannot succeed.
Naples Computers, Inc. is not responsible for any loss, corruption, or deletion of data that occurs during service. We strongly recommend backing up all data before dropping off any device. See our full Warranty & Data Policy for details.
